We conduct research in a vast area of communication and media science with a particular emphasis on various aspects of information science, including first of all information management, information behaviour, its contexts and conditions, theory and methodology of information research, scholarly communication, modern (particularly academic) librarianship, as well as on some historical aspects of books and social communication.

 

The Institute offers undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in INFORMATION MANAGEMENT and non-degree post diploma programme in OLD BOOK, SPECIAL COLLECTIONS AND ARCHIVAL MATERIALS.
